Taking my camera for a dip.

This is a view of the water near the canal where I live. To take this picture, I mounted the camera on my monopod and held it upside down as I lowered the camera from the bridge as close as I could to the water without getting it wet. I had the 10-second timer going to give me time to get the camera in position, but when I saw the orange timer light flashing underwater, I knew I had lowered the camera too far. It still took the timed exposure picture as planned and the top of the camera got wet, but once it dried it recovered fully from its nighttime dip.
