Shortly after the Berlin Wall fell in 1989, stores were quick to sell its fragments. Back then there was such a store at the Palm Beach Mall in West Palm Beach where I purchased my own piece of the Wall. I don’t remember how much I paid for it but I’m sure it’s grown in value since. It came with a booklet, a certificate of authenticity and a soft pouch for storage. There will never again be anything like this sold in stores.
