It’s been nearly a month since I upgraded to Windows 10. It was a fairly smooth process with a few snags along the way to get some of my hardware devices to work properly but in the end everything worked out. But just when I was about to declare that I was finally happy with Windows 10, I see articles about its spying capabilities and how it’s become a privacy nightmare.
From reading another article, I found out about the free DoNotSpy utility that tames Windows 10’s nosiness but allowing you to easily switch off these privacy-invading features. When the program first runs, it offers to create a System Restore point so you can easily revert back to the previous system state should you change your mind.
Now that I’ve got Windows’ spying habits under control, I can say I’m truly happy with it.
