There are tips on writing sentences that work, structuring your story to keep it interesting to the reader and forming a support group to offer constructive feedback on your work in progress. Each tip is presented as a separate tool, and with 50 tools in all, you’ve got yourself a writer’s toolbox that’s very entertaining to read and very useful to apply in your writing endeavors.
Another thing I like about this book is its origins. It started out as a series of blog posts about writing that made it to its current published form. That really inspires me. During my years of blogging I think I have enough material hidden in the archives to fill some books of my own. All I need to do is start digging.
Great book. It’s just what I’ve been looking for to help me improve my writing.
