A man standing on the floor
Of a room saw another man
Standing on the ceiling.
“Why are you upside down?”
“I’m not upside down, you are!”
“Me? You’re the one who’s upside down, not me!”
“You’re both wrong,” said a third man
Standing on the wall.
“You’re both standing sideways.”
“We’re not standing sideways, you are!”
The three men continued arguing
In a simple room
Appearing the same
To all outside eyes
But its simplistic beauty
Blurred into distortion
By the three different views
From the inside.
