Shattered
By bursts of red and blue
Exposing the scene in question
In its frightful light
The brave ones in blue arrive
Inquiring
Collecting
Pondering
As the sky begins to glow
With emerging light
To override the horrors of man
And to illuminate the elusive truth
Crime scene at the crack of dawn.
