I stare at my problems
Face to face
Until they begin to shimmer
Distorted by scintillating light
Separating into primary colors
That lie at the base of every problem
I break them down
One color at a time
The red for what makes me angry
The blue for what makes me sad
And the yellow for what makes me afraid
The colors dissipate
Leaving behind my problems in smaller form
That I only need to crack open
With my resolve and ingenuity
To reveal the solutions
Hidden within
