If you’re tired of your boring black and white command prompt, there are some replacements that can make your trips to the DOS prompt more enjoyable. Console is one that actually makes the command prompt window more attractive and adds some additional functionality, including tabs. text selection and options for further enhancing the window’s appearance. You can even use your desktop wallpaper as its background.
eConsole is another nice one that has various display styles to make your command window look like a terminal window. It doesn’t offer much else otherwise but pleasing eye candy.
